LETTER: Great service from the NHS
On Christmas Eve morning I had cause to contact Nutwood Surgery Grange to seek an appointment.Within an hour I was seen by my own doctor who decided to send me to Westmorland General Hospital for an urgent assessment.
There, I was immediately given ultrascan and X ray attention. The specialist doctor saw me as soon as he arrived and prescribed the medication necessary. This I obtained from the hospital pharmacy and by mid afternoon I was home again.
What wonderful service.
