LETTER: Fracking is bad news
Fracking is bad news I read the report 'Have your say over licences' (Gazette, August 27) which refers to a consultation period for potential fracking sites in the United Kingdom, including three in Furness.
Fracking is bad news, it pollutes the environment, produces climate changing emissions and it has been shown in Canada and the USA that seismic activity is increased as a result.
You have until September 29 to respond. Don’t delay, write to David Cameron today or sign an online petition with Friends of the Earth.
