LETTER: Give a home to the refugees
No-one who has seen or read of the plight of people desperately fleeing the violence and terror of the conflict in Syria could fail to be moved, if they have any empathy or humanity in their hearts.
It is imperative that the United Kingdom welcomes more Syrian refugees, that we provide a safe haven for those persecuted and driven from their homes, those living in fear, those who have lost everything.
Our representatives in government must give their voices to this cause.
