Kendal Town Ladies don beards for good cause
KENDAL Town Ladies are promoting awareness of bowel cancer in conjunction with sponsors Rosetta.
Kendal-based Rosetta supply the now famous 'bearded beanie' and the ladies have adopted the team motto: ‘If you can't grow a beard, then wear one’.
It is all part of the Decembeard campaign, which is being run by Beating Bowel Cancer charity to raise awareness of this treatable disease which can affect men and women alike.
Kendal Town Ladies play Leigh RMI on Sunday (November 18) at the Cosyseal Stadium at 2pm. Entry is free.
