GOALS from James Earnshaw and Teddy Harrison gave Bentham a 2-0 win at Arnside in the 848-848 Taxis/Sam Price Memorial Cup First Round.
Despite dominating almost all of the game against Marsh United, Caton United lost by a single goal.
Caton created chance after chance but could not take a single one of them.
Marsh defended well and a header by the outstanding defender Danny Hunt was the difference between the sides.
In the only game played in Division One, Bolton-le-Sands beat Boys Club by a single goal in a game where there should have been more.
Young striker Daniel Dixon’s goal moved them up to second in the league.
