HEATHER Ramsay bagged a brace as Kendal Towns Ladies recorded back-to-back wins with an entertaining 3-2 victory at Gigg Lane, Bury.
After last week's 2-0 win away at Stockport County Blues, Kendal moved up to sixth place with the win over the Greater Manchester club.
All the action was in the first half as Kendal went 1-0 in front through player/manager Lauren Downham.
The midfielder got on the end of a superb through ball by Joanne Thompson to score.
Kendal doubled their advantage when Ramsay scored with a well taken finish, however Bury fought back and shocked Kendal as they pulled two goals back making it 2-2.
Kendal rallied and quietened the home support when Ramsay gave Kendal a 3-2 lead at the break.
The second half was largely uneventful, with Kendal showing good spells of attacking play.
Bury did put Kendal under some pressure but Town held on to record another away day result.
Kendal travel to Carlisle this Sunday in search of three wins on the bounce.
