It was a quiet Monday afternoon in the South Westmorland Senior Bowling League as only two leagues were in action.
In Division One, Netherfield A pulled 11 points clear at the top of the table after a comfortable 6-2 win at lower Holker A.
Silverdale A climbed up to fourth after they defeated Netherfield B 6-2 at Parkside Road. Holme A defeated Bolton-le-Sands 7-1,while Kirkby Lonsdale ran out 6-2 winners over Burneside A.
It proved to be very competitive in Division Two, as Endmoor A, Ingleborough A and Heversham A ran out 5-3 winners over Arnside A, Milnthorpe A and Crosthwaite A respectively.
However, Bowness A had a more comfortable afternoon after they defeated Subscription A 7-1, while league leaders Windermere A had the afternoon off as they remained ten points clear at the top.
