It was another busy Sunday of Junior Football league and cup action, as plenty of goals were scored on a highly entertaining day.
In the Lakes Carpet Under 12 League, Kendal United defeated Grange United 5-0 at The Millenium Playing Fields.
Kendal United Colts picked up a 7-1 win at Wattsfield, after Dylan Hogg scored a hat trick, while Harley Hunter's hat trick helped Milnthorpe United to a 4-2 win at Heathwaite
Ambleside United defeated Wattsfield United 4-0 at Hilliard Park Field. Tm McGregor scored a brace while Beren Atkinson was also on target.
The Under 13 League saw Kendal United win the top of the table battle after they came from a goal behind to defeat Ambleside 2-1.
Ambleside opened the scoring in the second half after a close range strike by James Thornley. However, Tom Humble equalised for the hosts after unleashing a stunning strike into the back of the net, before Jackson Shephard completed the comeback, with a well-taken goal.
In the other game Kirkby Stephen defeated Grange United 3-1, thanks to goals by Dominic Moules,William Dobson and Oliver Rose.
Kendal United Rockets picked up a 3-0 win at Milnthorpe Town in the Under 14 League, after a goal by Joseph Fleming and a brace by Jamie Heddle.
Oliver Nelson scored four goals in Milnthorpe and District's 12-2 win at Wattsfield, while Cassius Fawcett's hat trick eased Ambleside to a comfortable 8-2 win over Grange United.
In the only one game in the Under 15 league, Ambleside defeated Ibis United 6-1 at The Jubilee Playing Fields in Kendal.
In the Minor Cup competition, Brennan Molyneaux's hat trick and a brace by Lucas Parker eased Ibis into the next round after a 5-2 win at Heathwaite, while Kirkby Lonsdale progressed after a narrow 1-0 win at Kendal United Rockets. Luke Blackburn scored the only goal as David Foster's team progressed.
