KENDAL Town FC take on Carlisle United tonight in hastily arranged pre-season friendly at Parkside Road.

The friendly, which is Town’s first home fixture of the season, was arranged just five days ago but promise to be a eagerly contested encounter with trialists on both teams looking to make names for themselves.

Among those who could appear at Parkside tonight is new Carlisle goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley, the 25-year-old former Chelsea stopper will be wanting to make a good impression should he make his debut tonight.

Former England Under 18 captain Yan Klukowski is another high-profile trialist currently at Carlisle who could make an appearance in the United shirt tonight. Kick off at Parkside Road is at 7.45pm. Admission is Adults £6 - OAPs £3 - U16s £1
