Jackson triumphant in final Kendal Sprint Triathlon of the year

KIE Jackson reigned supreme in the final Kendal Sprint Triathlon of the year.
In the event which included a 500m pool swim at lakes leisure, Kendal, an 18km bike ride and a 5km run, Jackson finished five minutes ahead of Lancaster University Triathlon man Joseph Beech, with the unattached Joe Tomaney third.
Lucy Jones was the first woman home in 1:14.40, ahead of Emily Baldock from Kendal Tri Club.
Team Ulfur’s Suzanne Paul was third in a race where there were 154 finishers.
