Well hello, it's been a while since i last updated this blog. Whilst I have been away I have created a new facebook group dedicated to the Westmorland League (for which i will give the link to at the end of the blog) Truth be told I have been hooked on the Westmorland League this season, their was of course the month's break (if you want to call it that) where their was constant snow and frost!.

Thankfully it was all systems go and we are now into the 4th week i think, and bar a few postponements, I have been to some interesting matches.

I actually feel tha the overall quality in the league has gone up this season.

I have mainly been in and around the Kendal vicinity and the matches I have seen have strengthened the fact that this is a good standard of football.

Kendal Utd have continued to impress me, I just like the way they go about their business, they have new dressing rooms, classrooms etc and the players train very hard, the most impressive aspect of them is the youth going through the side, Theirs no player 30 and over within the ranks, which shows that the future of local talent is very good.

I have been to a few matches in Kendal, I have seen alot of County's reserves which also look impressive, and I have been down to the Jubilee and seen Kendal Celtic and their reserve team (The Galacticos).

With my new facebook group now open!, I intend to go down to the likes of Windermere, Penrith,Ambleside etc, which i am looking forward too!

Anyhow thats the latest from my end, heres the link to the westmorland league facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=374355540709&ref=ts I will be regularily posting on here as of now, so watch out for my updated blogs on my Westmorland League travels.
