THE Heysham Port Ltd Westmorland Cricket League starts on Saturday with first division champions Windermere starting their title defence away at Kirkby Lonsdale.
Warton, who finished on the same number of league points at the champions, but lost the title on matches won, are also away at promoted Bolton-le-Sands.
Arnside are hosts to Burneside ; Sedgwick entertain Westgate and Milnthorpe go to Heysham, with Ibis also travelling, to Shireshead.
Warton's Phil Bovis topped the 2006 batting averages on 75.20 from a total of 752 runs.
Windermere's Nick Lewthwaite was second in the batting averages on 51.33 off 616 runs.
Lewthwaite also topped the bowling averages with 77 wickets at an average of 9.74.
