SNOW has started returning to parts of Cumbria today.
There are reports from Eden that it is “pretty bad” over Shap although there are just a few flakes fluttering in the breeze at Kendal.
The Gazette’s Tebay correspondent Len Clarke said that there had been a “decent covering” in the village although the main road was still open.
“It’s eased off a bit now but it has put about half an inch down,” said Mr Clarke.
“I was up over Shap this morning and it was pretty bad up there.”
