Awarded Small Hotel of the Year 2011 by Cumbria Tourism,
Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel is only a mile from bustling Bowness-on-Windermere,
up on the hillside with breathtaking views of Lake Windermere and the Coniston
Fells.
Many of the bedrooms at this luxury hotel have lake views
and all have en-suite bathrooms with power showers. The three master bedrooms
are very spacious with super-king size beds and every modern amenity.
Dinner in the Lake view restaurant is a pleasure. Our chefs
carefully source each item to be included on the menu and present the food with
a contemporary flair. The wine menu has been carefully developed to complement
the food.
The wide south-facing terrace is ideally positioned for
morning coffee and homemade afternoon cream teas. The views over the private
gardens towards the lake and across to the Coniston Mountain range make it even
more special.
Lindeth Fell was built in 1909 as a private residence. It
was converted into a hotel in the late 1970s and bought by the current owners,
the Kennedy family in the mid-1980s. The hotel has changed radically over those
years to meet the needs of customers with high expectations, and the family and
their dedicated team aim to achieve this every day. |
