THERE'S NOTHING WORSE THAN A BULLY!

Posted on 4:51pm Monday 2nd November 2009

Bullies are usually people who have self esteem problems. However before we feel too sorry for them remember what damage they can cause to their victims. It's sad to see that even the Beefeaters looking afer the Crown Jewels are not immune. The first female Beefeater has been subjected to this displicable behaviour from two of her colleagues, prompting their suspension. Employees should not be frightened to speak out against bullies and employers should have policies in place and the right people to deal with such complaints. These days employment tribunals take a very dim view of any employer not dealing with these issues effectively. By the same yard stick any employee found to have brought false allegations against someone in respect of bullying can expect to be disciplined themselves!!
