Boarding

The four houses at St Bees School are not just the centre of house activity for the pupils, they are also home to our boarders. With a deeply rooted set of family values, the houses offer our pupils a caring and supportive environment in which they can make friends for life, improve their academic potential and have access to everything they need to make the most of their time at St Bees School. The house team of staff and senior pupils help to provide outstanding pastoral care and ensure that our boarders enjoy a full and varied programme of events.

All pupils are welcome to board at anytime and we offer full, weekly and flexi boarding arrangements to help fit in with the needs of our pupils and their busy parents.

Many pupils benefit enormously from the structure that boarding offers with homework sessions supported by members of the teaching staff. Pupils often enjoy the sense of independence that boarding offers and for our Sixth Form students this provides an invaluable opportunity to develop a sense of independence and community living that stands them in good stead ready for the challenges of University.

Boarding at St Bees School represents excellent value for money and what better way could there be to invest in your child’s future?
